I check out cd's on www.musicstack.com and there is this dealer "Recsim from France" that always seems to have CD's priced at least $100.00 more than other dealers CD's. Does anyone know why?
me think he's a true lunatic...
the profile of recsim on musicstack says....

I leave in europ and my job is to have for you very hard-to-find items in all musical categories from 1950 to 2000.
Not only his CD's are extremely overpriced, his asking price for vinyl is even worse...
look at the price of this more than average Disco classic on sale!

AVOID THIS SELLER :icon_exclaim:
He probably entered the market first and then the others posted their discs at below his cost.
About 5 years ago my friends and i first noticed this site on Music Stack & Gemm, we just fell about in hysterics at the prices , surely nobody would be dumb enough to pay them?
Actually, I think this guy is buying stuff from other sellers and then marking it up to absurd levels. He wants over $100 for the obscure Rinder & Lewis Cheetah album (which is essentially recycled R&L tracks with new vocals), which I got for a fraction of that amount from another seller on GEMM a couple of years ago.
The other explanation is:
I don't know if it's him too, some sellers on GEMM put high price and a link with their own website, after on their website the price is not the same, it's just to not paid the fees on GEMM.
With this kind of price, you send an e-mail and make a proposition and do the deal out of GEMM.
