The magic blend of the Crusader's Jiscodazzy soundz. I know only 1 hit by this band but they sure made other excellent stuff. But...only 1 hit????

This is probably there biggest crossover hit, they also got a lot of urban radio play with Keep That Same Old Feelin' in '75, (later covered by Side Effect)
Been releasing LP's since the 60's, & still get a lot of play on most Jazz/Fusion stations.:D

Lead singer Randy Crawford launched her own solo career, just before the success of 'Street Life'.
I remember at the time, the Crusaders headlining a tour, with Randy Crawford supporting them.
With the huge success of 'Street Life' and her own solo hits, the tables turned and she, as support, became the star of the show, not the Crusaders!

I've always been a big Crusaders fan back from the Jazz Crusaders days. I loved the early stuff like "Way back home" "Put it were you want it" . I did see them live with there best line up that included Wayne Henderson & Larry Carlton. The Joe Sample and Sticks Hooper solo stuff is pretty good.
