need help with partial lyrics from 2 songs...

hi gang,
the first song i think is called "superman"
the lyrics start "superman was born, came into my life like a fire" <insert bad memory> then the chorus goes/finishes "superman, oh if i can, i'm gunna make you love me!!!"

the second song i heard in 1979 at patches in oxford street sydney and it's been bugging me for 23years!!! the only bit i remember well was a piece of the chorus that goes "watcha gonna do about it, whatcha gonna do about it... tell me! watcha gonna do about it, whatcha gonna do about it... oh hoo..." a female artist very high energy track.

23years is too long to have a song running through your head so if anyone can plz plz plz help me i'd be very grateful.

any chance you know where you can buy it? i've tried all the major online shops i know of but to no avail. i've managed a crappy version of the rozalin woods song as an *.rm file but i really really would like a good copy as an mp3.

any chance that you know who sang the superman song? it's still bugging me...
