Well , we explored our "Porn Names" in an earlier post so NOW, kids.... I ain't a DRAG QUEEN...BUT over the years I've heard some very amusing names that drag performers have used. Most are not coming back to me now...BUT I expect you all can help me compile a list of outrageous and clever names.

2 that I heard recently in a play here called "Southern Baptist Sissies"...

    Sheila Noya
Iona TraYler (the queen makes sure you know it's spelled with a "y")

    Also, someone once used...

    Amanda Wreckinwith

    OK, Your Turn.....

How about, "Noxema Jackson, Jesse's sister."

I'm sorry, but I thought Wesley Snipes was wild with that line.

Do you know I can't remember any of the names, even the ones I had to play music for. I have to put the thinking cap on and come back here. ITMT, here's one from DeNiro's "Flawless": IVANNA MAN (Duh?)

...yes, that last one was for real... if you think her self-declared title was a hoot, you should've heard her speak!

I know I'm joining this topic late (hey, I've been busy!), but I will never forget how hard Bob laughed when he read about the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence member named...

    Sue Ridge
    Donnatela Nuthin
    Ivy Druguser
    Barb Wire
    Mona Lott
    Anna Ki

....there are a helluva lot more but I can't remember them now.

Okay, here's a few who played Whorelando back in my day:

    Rusty Fawcett
    Lady Latonia
    Lana Lane
Carmela Marcella Garcia (she's still at it!)
Miss P (longtime mistress of ceremonies at the Parliament House - "Put your hands together" - clap)

We also had big, fat queens that I can't recall their names and queens in nun outfits who roller skated around the stage.

I always preferred the queens who danced over the ones who did ballads.

By the way - The Parliament House is billed as "The World's Largest Gay Resort." Have any of you been there?

You can slide my finger on it
