Actually, the sequel SCREAM, BLACULA, SCREAM isn't as bad. Look for a young Craig T. Nelson as a detective.

I always wanted to see the black version of "The Exorcist" called "Abby" but never did see it. Is it awful?

It sure is awful in many ways, does not have the production values of say "The Antichrist" nor the gore of "The Sexorcist", but boring it's certainly not. "Abby" does not resemble anything that's being shown in the nearest multiplex so it's definitely worth seeing just like any "exorcist" rip-off. If you see an old vhs copy in some junk store grab it - unless there are news of a dvd edition?

Here's Abby. Never heard of it, must check it out!

And Jussi, it's available on DVD!

And is this the "Sexorcist" you are referring to?

Ah, Abby on DVD - so many films, so little time. And yes, "Eerie Midnight Show" is an edited, toned down American version of the industrial strenght original Italian "L'Ossessa", also called "The Sexorcist".

If you're into blaxploitation horror films, check out SUGAR HILL with Marki Bey!

No worries, Video! SUGAR HILL is more or less forgotten, and that's sad because it's one of the better blaxploitation flicks (and it starred Markie Bey! ;) ). Gotta love Adolph Caesar doing the voice-over...I think he did ALL the blaxploitation trailer voice-overs!

I saw it on TV. It was so bad, it was good.
