I remember I really liked that song by Chuck Cissel. It was a one-hit wonder, right? I think I bought the 45. Who was he, where did he come from and where did he go?

I picked up the 12-inch of "Cisselin' Hot" several months ago (maybe even as long ago as last year) because I had fond memories of that song (from hearing it on Pittsburgh's short-lived disco radio station; I don't ever remember hearing it in a club).

When I played the 12-inch again just two or three weeks ago, I still enjoyed the song, but it wasn't as hot as I remembered it to be, sad to say.

That is a song that I don't know--AT LEAST NOT BY TITLE. I've seen it on lists--BUT I have no memory of it.

    Hi everybody,

I have Chuck Cissel's LP that contains Cisselin' Hot. Good track, very groovy, but the album has some great, heat melting slow jams. The guy is a great singer. I read that he worked on some Broadway musicals.

    Peace,

Played this around a week ago and I still enjoy it. It's in the Disco Vault under "C" albeit without a sound sample.
