Greetings. I've been a disco fan since the 70's and have a sizable collection of 12" singles and LPs, however, I'm missing a song which I've been trying to get for years.
(This is my first time posting a request, so please forgive me if the question has been asked.)
I've been trying to find a very fast-paced song which kind of sounds like a Jacques Fred Petrus-type "Peter Jacques Band" production. (Euro-disco sound)
The song's only lyrics I can remember go something like this:
"Ooh la la, je'taime, ooh I love you..."
(or something to that effect)
Can anyone let me know:
1) what the title is
2) who is the artist
3) is the song on a CD which I can purchase (title please)
4) if the song is not on a CD, is it available for download (I know this is not legal, but this is a last recourse)
Thanks for your help.
BTW, does anyone remember dancing at Jasmine's in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn? The place was the size of a closet, but man, what awesome music! (No pop radio stuff)
