Hey Deepbeat. The 12" Greek disco record I have is:

    The Great Disco Bouzouki Band

    Side A - Disco Bouzouki

Side B - Greek Magic (medley):
    a - Never On Sunday
    b - Zorba The Greek

This was recorded on "fable" label.

Anyhow is this the 12" you're talking about?

Australia mate! The land of many great funkateers!

On "Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon" Biddu uses an Indian instrument that doesn't seem to be a citar, but sure sounds good.
Also, on "Let's all chant" by Michael Zager Band, you can hear an oboe solo and a medieval piano, don't know what it is.

Well, for the record, I better throw in the bagpipe used in "Scotch Machine" (Voyage) and later in the more obscure "Hot Love" by Kelly Marie, a Scottish lass, no doubt.
    "Lost inside adorable illusion...."

"Let's all chant" features a Clarinet solo rather than an oboe (being a disco lover and a clarinet player myself this is of particular interest!) And the "medievel piano" you refer to is a harpsichord.

Here's another one for the list - penny whistles in "A-Freak-A" by Lemon!

Probably. I think a friend of mine found it at the flea market a few months ago so I'll check with him also. I think there was an album out too.

Hi everybody and SORRY everybody, it is not "Spirituals" that I wrote in another box but it is SPIRITS by Gary's Gang and we get a short solo of trombone and saxofone in this beautiful disco song.

By the way, we can heard a Clavinet in FIRE ISLAND by Village People.

Zeca Azevedo, thanks for the help, I think there's a cuica too in Maria Fumaça/Banda Black Rio, but I'm not sure.
