Hey Mike, glad you reminded me of Lovelight with Patti on vocals! She sang at SF's City Hall on the morning of 9/11/02, but it was just a little too early in the morning for me.
Speaking of good mellow jazz/soul, have you heard the new Natalie Cole cover of Michael Frank's "Tell Me All About It". Our local smooth jazz station had been playing it for the last month. It's soooo good!! Can't wait for the CD to be released this coming Tuesday (9/17).
