I just saw 20 people were currently browsing the site!!!! I've NEVER seen that many before at the same time!!!!

Or is it just Caroline and her 19 personas perusing simultaneously????

Hey, I gotta go for a joke, kids. At least, she doesn't have her fictitious lawyers ready to sue my ass--YET!!!!!!

"Caroline" VS. "markydefad" for defamation via Irony/Sarcasm/Eyebrows (All The Gay Weapons)!!!!!!

Do any of the rest of you get a "lonely" feeling when you are the only person logged on????

It has happened to me, I have to admit.

Sometimes there is NO ONE around.
("Siiiilent night, hooooleee night/ aaallll is caaaalllmmm.....)

But, previously the most I've ever seen logged on were 15, at most. This morning there were actually 20--BUT by the time I had posted, there wee only 10 left.

I guess Caroline, our own Hydra, had moved on.

Yeah, I'm cruisin' for a bruisin'.

OK, kids-- so you don't have to look it up--a Hydra is a many-headed monster from Greek mythology. Eh, Deep Beat???

Are they litigious????? Hmmm, I'm just askin!!!!!!!

I had this feeling many times here on the forums Marky.

But, nothing worst than a crowded forum and nobody answering a topic, huh?

    Peace

Blax, I agree.....a few times in the past 30 days that I have been on here - where I posted something looking for information - I have gotten ZERO responses...I have seen responses online here to the most far-out (see how that term dates me)requests for something and have seen tons of responses...but the few simple little requests I ask - zilch!....that hurts....

however, make a comment that is negative or disagree with someone - WHAM-O ! it is like the flood gates are being opened up.....

    what gives?

    Now DanceMan, NO OFFENSE intended....

BUT, once you posted asking us to tell you how to reach Cheryl Lynn-- uh, like we were spending the weekend at her house or had her on speed dial!!!!

Sorry, BUT that's the way it read to me!!!!

Hey, Cheryl NEVER calls me anymore. Did she mention why to any of the rest of you???

    Hmmmm????

    (I'm just teasing ya.)

    Very Funny! (teasing)

actually, the one I was referring to that frustrated me was the one where I listed a zillion DJ names and clubs and I thought that there would be a number of people who knew where they were or if they were even still with us. Unfortunately, only Nrg responded (thanks, Nrg. It didn't seem so Out there, but maybe I think too much of the 70s with a professional/bizness state of mind, as this was my work field, in addition to being a vocation.

With Cheryl, I really only wanted some info on her..never asked for an address or phone number, my dear, but wouldn't mind being invited over for lunch - as long as she Keeps It Hot!

    D.M.,

I understand your point...BUT you gotta realize that with a few exceptions, most of us here are mere "punters". We danced--BUT didn't run the show, didn't hobnob with the movers & shakers, weren't on the guest lists for the private after-parties.

I met a few folks cause I worked in a record store--BUT it was San Francisco, affectionatly referred to as "Hooterville" (think "Petticoat Junction", the cousin of "The Beverly Hillbillies") when I lived there, by some trendy queens. New York was where everything really happened. But you know that.

Soooo...I guess the answer is that we don't know--NOT that anyone is purposely withholding information. That's my take.

    Peace out.

Marky's right on this one, DanceMan. However, people like John Ceglia cruise this forum from time to time. And there are others who DJed on those days.
Foreigners like me, you can imagine I don't even know who the hell were those people (same thing happened to me with the "Who's dead" topic... where all those DJs came from?)
Don't give up hope! Maybe those guys will discover this forum in time.

Well you're right about Hydra - It was a many headed monster and when you cut off one its heads another one spawned right out!
However, I did have to look up "litigious"!
