    You're not going to belive this!
    Back in the dark, dark pre-Disco days (1974 actually), before 12" singles were invented, a DJ friend of mine managed to fall asleep between records. It was absolutely classic!
    Imagine, packed dance floor THEN fade to end of disc THEN crackle, crackle, crackle,zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
    No, the guy wasn't sacked for it, but to my knowledge he never fell asleep again whilst DJing ( like you do :lol: )

    I am wondering what track was played to fall asleep that quickly

    I Think it was George McRae Rock Your Baby (for the comatose time that evening, ex DJs will know what I mean). Incredibly down tempo for those days.

    I don' think it was booze that did him, just sheer exhaustion. Work all day, boogie all night X 10, you know?
