I believe the record was released in 1983. She did release other songs but I have no clue what they were called now!

1983 on Profile Records. HUGE club hit when I was spinning in New Orleans. She released "Doctor DJ" in 1984 and "Stranger In Disguise" in '85 on Record Shack Records but neither of those did anything for my crowd.

Marsha Raven - I Like Plastic

Can anyone help me locate this track on CD. I've got the 12" single and quite frankly I've worn it down to the bone.

    Thanks

GEMM also has both 12"s and CD's. Just remember to search both 'MARSHA' and 'MARCIA' to see everything.

I have a compilation CD with one of Marsha Raven's tracks on it. The CD is called "Disco Fever - Volume 1" (there are three voulumes - I own the other two as well), picked them up for a couple of dollars. The track is "I Like Plastic". Production credits are given to Bull Pen Music Inc and writing credits to Tubbs.

The first record Marcia did was I Like Plastic. Very much a fun record. Think it was released on Red Bus Records. Must dig it up and see.

    MARSHA RAVEN

I love MARSHA RAVEN !! One of my favourite HINRG dinas of the 1980s - Her compilation CD was released by HOT records and is worth investing in.. Unfortunately the track :( [b]CATCH ME... is not the original recording and is inferior... :(
The last 12" HINRG single she released was called THAT JEALOUS SENSATION produced by IAN LEVINE for his NIGHTMARE label - As far as I know it did not really set the dancefloors alight
