VS, the Dolly Dots are faves here, especially with a DiscoMusic.com named Maarten, who is the head of their international fan club.;)
"P.S." had some moderate success here in NYC at the end of '81, and that piffle of a film that they made used to run on pay-cable here.

The Dolly Dots were ok, but I prefer The Dooleys, The Nolans or even The Newton Family

I was shocked with The Nolans - in Japan single In The Mood For Dancing was sold 673 000 copies ! For example Hot Stuff only 150 000...Nolans was second in list after Flashdance ! And on # 3 was.... Hot Blood(Soul Dracula)- 416 000 copies. Hungarian Newton Family I think was best disco band from Eastern Europa... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do5V9Oe5G94

The Dolly Dots worked with StockAitkenWaterman in '88 on 'What a Night'. Sort of like a Dutch Bananarama.:???:

I want to say about their “We Beleive In Love” – DVD: “DTS” – encoding and authoring by “The Van Studious”, made in 2006. Of course some all “old” things on this DVD are from their “Dolly Dots” and “Take Six”. And the last song is “more young”, maybe from “Dutch Bananarama”:), called “Give The Girl A Break”. In my opinion the work could be more better, if I had seen not only their dancing in studio, but the work of music band - to have the real picture of the concert;-). Not bad video-compilation, as I said, but without my most lovely their “You’re The Only One”:(.
