Why It must be hated? Professional and good-mood disco project, to my mind. Rememberings of my childhood-schooldays are connected with this band. In those times I was the citizen of the USSR yet :), and I remember, how it was a great prob to have high quality compactcassette-taperecorder. Some of my schoolneighbors had such equipment (Their parrents had coming abroad sometimes;)) and I remember from those times, how, “You’re O.K.” and “Hands Up” played from loudspeakers, during our parties. They sounded fantastic. But today my most favorite thing from OTTAWAN is “Hello Rio!”

That's the true spirit! I never understood why they, or f.i. Boney M, get so much bad reviews on this board. It's like you wrote: strictly positive vibes on a pleasant Disco-groove. It may not be world-shocking but it's fun and that's the most important commandement the Discogods gave us humans :icon_exclaim: .
