I put this on the board a year or so ago and nobody knew it, but I thought I'd try again since we have many new members.
It's a radio broadcast from a club on New Years Eve 1983.
This is the chorus:(male vocal)
"This groove was made especially for your body, we're gonna make you move. This groove was made especially for your body, get into the body groove."
Here's one of the lines of the song.
"All night long, you been putting it off. Your body hates to move at any cost. Now all is fair in love and dance so get on up and give your feet a chance."

Nobody knows this? I thought for sure someone would know it.
It must be a fairly obscure song.

It kind of sounds like you are talking about Taana Gardner - Work that Body

No, its not Taana Gardner. The song is sung by a male.
