With all the ELVIS craze going on these days, i was wondering if his songs were ever discofied.
The only disco-version that i can remember has got to be: GOMEZ PRESLEY - The letter (1983?)

Oh, by the way did ya know that the current ELVIS number one hit "a little conversation" was actually mixed by Dutch breakbeat pioneer JUNKIE XL. It was the first officially released elvis remix in 25 years, mainly because the song was remixed for a NIKE commercial. I guess Lisa-Marie smelled the money from miles away!
But she forced JUNKIE XL to change his name to JXL, so that the King wouldn't be associated with drugs. OH IRONY!!!! Didn't he die of an overdose?
    Ah, whatever...

So are their anymore ELVIS-DISCO songs?

Sure, there was "Can't Help Falling In Love..." disco-fied for The Stylistics....(and really Elvis was not even the originator of that song which goes back to the 30's.....)

I really was not that much into Elvis - I was born in the 50's but so glad that none of the music seeped into my consciousness.

I do recall that an Elvis original, "Bossa Nova", from around 1964 (I think) got a lot of play in some of the more avant-garde clubs in London in the early 1980's! That was just before the time that there was a great jazz revival on the London dance scene! Great track!!

DEVO, in 1989, made a eletronic rock version of "Don't be cruel", very short but DANCING (I think) and the singer's voice is the same of Elvis, I can't believe !!!
