Alton Miller -- Deep Experience Ep

Juergen Junker -- Sometimes You Gotta Let Them Go ...this one has this cut called "once more" that samples "heavy vibes" and is real moody and slow...it's real quirky and sounds off-key but that's what grabbed my attention to this sleeper....real, real sick keywork! thanks to Jason and Martin for cueing me up to this one:)

Vincent Kwok -- School's Out Ep

Unknown white label that i got on "Vinyl Junkies" with "JJP 2008" on the label and "Franck Roger/Dj Pot" that is amazing...especially this one track that sounds like it came out from the Environ Camp.

NoJazz feat. Mangu -- Candela...i especially love the "Deep Traxx Remix"


Italy:

Ozila 2001 -- Ozila i like this 1978 release on Vogue a lot.

Bata Drum -- Passion ....1985 release on Claudio Simonetti's "FullTime" label....who was behind other Italian acts such as Kano, VinZee, and FireFly

Crazy Gang -- We Are The Crazy Gang....1983 production again by Claudio Simonetti on the Italian "Bubble" label. you should see the colorful garb on the front cover!

Vienna: Watching You...1983 Michael Henderson Production on Sutra

Martin Circus: Shine Baby Shine...the standout song is "i've got a treat" on this 1979 outing pressed for the Italian Derby label...originally released on France's Vogue.

IMS (International Music System): Run Away/Noline from 1983 (real synthy single with a touch of industrial intersped in it).
Delegation: It's Your Turn (1983 CBS UK)...one of my favorites of the trip
ShakAtak: Easier Said Than Done from 1981...very, very nice jazzfunk single
Electric Mind: Can We Go/Zwei...this is probably my favorite classic find of the trip...i've played this disc at least two dozen times and can't get enough! originally released in 1983 on the Italian FullTime label, i got the German Ariola pressing...sick, sick mid-tempo slice of rollergroove that begs for a remake.

when i got back home, i had to scour the usual spots and there was some in the waiting...there was also this thrift shop i have not been in a while where it appeared an old disco dj left his/her records in there (you can tell since each of his/her records had a white dot at the upper right corner of the album with a number on it)...a decent number of them were near-mint promos all for a dollar each....they are as follows:

La Bionda lp from 1978 (US Polydor Pressing)
Sweet Cream and Other Delights (1978 ShadyBrook -- album cover reprises the famous 60s Herb Albert cover with the woman covered in whip cream...)
Three Degrees -- New Dimensions
Claudja Barry -- Claudja (1977/78 Salsoul)
Rena Scott -- Come On Inside (1979 Mtume/Lucas Production on Arista)
Tony Valor Sounds Orchestra -- Love Has Come My Way (1978 Paula Records)...this is oddball since Paula Records out of Shreveport, LA are more known for releasing blues and r&b but i guess they were too trying to latch on the disco bandwagon and they got a winner (maybe not in sales but in production) with Mr. Valor....Mr. Valor previously released "Ma-Mo-Ah" on the Brunswick label around 76/77(???) just about the time the label shut down for court proceedings regarding royalty payments until it's early 80s brief revival...Jim Burgess did some of the mixes and it also featured Carol Williams on a lot of vocals plus mastering by Jose Rodriguez...The album cover is a hoot with Tony in a open shirt smiling displaying his gold on his neck surrounded by four women...HAH!HAH!HAH!HAH!HAH!HAH!HAH!vHAH!HAH! Mr. Valor later produced Fantasy's "you're too late" towards the end of 1980, one of the pivotal singles in the naecent early 80's NYC Ultrasophisticated Funk genre.

Frantique lp from 1979 on Philly Intl (oddball one being that its a Eurodisco release (London/Paris) without any input from Gamble and Huff.

KELVY: I'm glad that someone else has at last succumbed to the absolute delight of Electric Mind's - Can We Go. The instrumental side Zwei didn't quite make it for me, the vocals certainly made Can We Go much more danceable for soem reason.
I've already put it in my top 25 submission. I played this track almost like no other in '82. It's hypnotic ain't it?

Oh, i've got that Ozila 2001 Album too. I like their mixture of disco and afro music.

I totally agree with you Quinny, although I like the instrumental better.
This track has such a unique sound, a little on the minimal bass heavy, hypnotic, electronic side that Larry Levan fans will appreciate. Very ahead of its time.
