Southern Comfort...
I'm trying to find one of my lp's. I know the label is RCA and the song I want is "Love Is". I think this group also did "On My Own" or "On Our Own".
Anyone remember?
Thanks!

Southern Comfort...
I Believe In The Boogie, But Lovin\' Is Really My Game.
Close. It's actually Southern Exposure (another THP project).
Thanks for the clarification, Graham.....Yes...after I sent the message to Mr. Nick I realized but I figured that NickNack is so clever, he would figure it out from that clue...
btw...what movie is your chicken wings quote from? thanks....Danceman

didn't the LP jacket feature a "lady" in skimpy boudoir material, lipsticking and posing in front of a mirror? (surprised myself that I would remember something like that!)On 2002-08-26 21:04, NickNack wrote:

Yep, that's the one!
Not one of THP's better offerings, but maybe I should give it another listen...
Oh, the "chicken wings" quote is from South Park. It's in the DVDA version of "What Would Brian Boitano Do", as played during the end credits.
"Love Is" is such a great track!
Another epic disco masterpiece that brings to mind Cerrone's "Love In C Minor" - at least in concept.

Being that you put it that way I'll have to dig this out again and give it another shot. It's been a while since I last played this.

Thanks Everybody. I'm looking at the lady in the 'tres' skimpy bedroom wear. DanceMan, shame on you.
I just wanted to hear "Love Is" after so long because, as DeepBeat mentioned, it always reminded me of Cerrone. Not as tight, but close. When I played it in the club the first time the very first question was, "Is that a new Cerrone?"

After putting this lp on the turntable I had to sign back in. How could I forget the cut "On Our Way", the correct title I screwed up before.
Sleaze to please, slays for days! One of the few morning pieces where the tempo actually shifts downward in the song. Only makes it stronger.
Mark, Keefe --- Tell me Bobby V. taunted you with this piece.
Graham, think DRG, Side 2, and insert this cut in there. You'll get the feeling.
PLAY IT IF YOU GOT IT!

This is one of my fav albums. I listen to it quite often. I also like Headin' South for a little 2x entendre! I have an extra ablum I might part with since I have 2 and 2 12"ers of "Love Is/Headin South"
Is the US the country where the cover to Love In C Minor Lp is different?
I have the Australian pressing and it is the same as the UK pressing that Bernie mentions in the vaults section of the website. (Uncensored cover and full-length version of the title track)

USA and Canada, although curiously, the US version omits the intro dialogue, whereas the Canadian does not. The cover was also changed for the North American release of Cerrone's Paradise. On 2002-08-27 22:14, discohunter wrote:

Oh, and NickNack, thanks for pointing out what a good track "Love Is" is to me. I just pulled this out, and it is indeed marvellous... I think I originally got this album at the same time as I got several others, and didn't give it a proper listen before filing it away. Something I've been guilty of more than once...
You know it, Nicky! A crowd favorite at Troc and one of my favorites! If I recall correctly, this cut was one of those songs that alot of people would come over to us on the dancefloor to ask us what it was.On 2002-08-27 11:18, NickNack wrote:
