I know that isn't the answer but I couldn't resist!
All right...Let's try this:
Take the title of this huge (radio monster) 1982 hit by this group of ladies (and that's your clue for today), drop one word, then give me the title/artist of this huge 1983 club hit.
OK... one more clue: The club hit and the title of the group's album are the same.

I Believe In The Boogie, But Lovin\' Is Really My Game.
Nice try but, nope, that ain't it.
Clue # 2: Like the Supremes, these ladies started out as four, but became stars with three.

Nicky, I'll try my only shot:
Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited

SENHORES DO GROOVE - BRAZIL
All Right Blax! He's given you the group with the radio hit, now what's the club song?
Hint: Both she and Luther Vandross told their lovers, in song anyway, to GET OUT!

The title's right, now the artist is...
Clue: I'm pretty sure at one time they tried to "American-ize" her last name.
Good luck!

Last clue. If you don't get this time then this lady isn't as popular as I thought.
Here it is: If you take it slowly, then she might not ask you to move out.

Let me put an end to this torture:
NANCY MARTINEZ - "So Excited".
From the lp, "Lay It Down", which also had "Take It Slowly", a serious NYC classic disco piece. She also had some mid 80's hits on Atlantic: "For Tonight", "Crazy Love", "Can't Wait" and my fave, "Move Out".
Now I might be wrong but I remember a lady on Unidisc and Atlantic with the name Nancy Martin. Same woman?
So, tell me SOMEBODY remembers this lady.
