Chevy ups the ante

Paul, I've just read a great review on the Corvette C6. Handles smoothly, easy access for tall guys like us and amazing power! I'm planning to test-drive 1 over the next weeks.

But.... I've sinned and didn't keep my promises. Yesterday I took a ride in the BMW 6 and what a car!!!!! Beautiful design, comfortable (once you are seated ) and the I-Drive is superb. Now, I hate the 3-series, the 5-series and the 7-series but the "Sixies". Mmmmmmh, itchin' :p

Ok, so you like BMW 6 series. I knew you didn't like the looks of the new BMWs. So what impressed you the most about the BMW you drove?
By the way I forgive you. A beautiful car is like a beautiful woman. It's so hard to keep your hands much less eyes off her :D

What impressed me? Everything! The looks: doesn't matter from which angle u look at it, it is heavenly. I was very suspicious about the I-drive system but it handles well although I still prefer a normal gear-box.

The seats: you are like sitting in your chair at home. No stress, no fatigue.

The engine gives a supersound and shifts very sporty (of course).

And....it's the first Beamer in a long time that looks very Disco, n'est-ce pas???

The interior looks like the functional interior I expect from beemers. I like those red seats.
Still though, if I had all the cash in the world my choices would be:

1. Tesla
2. Corvette
3. Mercedes

I always preferred Mercedes to BMW. They seemed a more complet car though BMW is a fine make. I did drive a German (car) before. My 1973 Opel 1900 I believe was German.
As for the other pics. I like the novelty of having a kick ass electric. The 'Vette like my current T/A was on my dream list of must have cars.

Very much like that one Johan.
Audi doesn't do nearly as well as BMW or even Mercedes. I guess it just doesn't have that "look what I've got" appeal the way the other 2 do.
