I, myself, remember this was the record ("My Sharona") that at the end of August-beginning of September, 1979, during it's 6 week reign @ #1---suddenly seemed to be the harbinger that disco was dying, pop music was changing--at least in the commercial radio sense....radio stations in San Francisco started changing their all-disco formats to anything but disco....:(:(:(
