    Giorgio Moroder at work

This is the best video sample of Giorgio I've seen on the web.

I was surprised to notice real drums were used to do Baby blue, I thought the entire E=MC2 album was synthetized.

The fact that Donna Summer spoke German was the most revealing part.

One other thing: I do hate how the announcer makes cracks about Disco (bad hair...) and Giorgio (dodgy soundtracks...) throughout the piece. It's as if they are almost embarrassed to admit they have to interview him or discuss Disco... annoying.

Yep that struck me too! I don't know when this interview is done coz' Giorgio looked much younger than he is now! Mid-Eighties????

Donna lived in Munich/Germany for some time and was married to a German, named Helmut Sommer. There she did musicals and Opera.

Her real name is Donna Gaines, but you all knew that already.

    Munich, right not Berlin . . .

Come on let's see some more of those rare video samples before Google shuts down more of their youtube videos because of owner rights complaints. :icon_mad:
