Hi There!
I think the song you're talking about is called "Jungle Fever" ... and I'm sure that it's included in a movie soundtrack. The soundtrack is called "Boogie Nights" and has music from various artists.
Hope this helps!

Who is Nino Velasquez? I found a c. 5 minute track by this musican called SI SI NO NO, an exceptional salsa/disco hybrid. It kicks off with a c. 124 BPM beat and first introduces a latin lady sounding like a teenage Charo - she giggles and purrs and emotes most vividly. There's a male chorus chanting something about "ultimo" and then Nino comes on briefly, to do something to the Lady that makes her go into hysterics, she sighs, shouts and screams sisi..no! si si ...NO! SI! NOOO!!! - Nino must have been tickling her or something, in any case this is about the best sequence of it's kind I've ever heard on vinyl. Is there an album?!

Nope - I do have the vinyl and actually was just wanting to know who Nino was or is and if he has any other offerings of that quality. Since posting the question I learned there is an album called DISCO CHA CHA and apparently this Barclay realese from 78 is a something to behold. But as for JUNGLE FEVER, that's a great track too for sure!
There's a brazilian LP compilation (1979) called MEDIEVAL DANCING GAY with this songs:
1- Casbah in Cairo - Sabine Sauvant
2- A White Shade of Pale - Munich Machine featuring Chris Bennett
3 - Saint Louis - Phylicia Allen
4 - Music Man - The Ritchie Family
5 - Baby try my Love - Janet Manchester
6 - Chove Chuva - Samba Soul
7 - MAMBO JAMBO - NINO VELASQUEZ
8 - Helplessly - Trini Lopez
9 - Carmen Miranda in Brazil - Banana's Sensual Days
Please Marcio try and describe this track, what can it be like?! BANANA'S SENSUAL DAYS - the mind boggles. Learning about things like this make one realise the hunt will never ever be over.On 2002-09-04 04:08, Marcio wrote:

Jussik,
"Carmen Miranda in Brazil" is a MEDLEY of Carmen Miranda's songs, like STUDIO 45, and "Banana's sensual days" was a brazilian female disco group without fame.
Carmen Miranda was a 40's brazilian tropical singer. She mades some success in USA. "Radio Days", a movie by Woody Allen, shows Denise Dumont, a brazilian artist, dancing and singing like her.
"Medieval" was a brazilian disco club and Felipe Rose of Village People was in it. People came to Medieval to dance and to see brazilian she-males shows too.
