song name help!!!

I seek a song, but don't know the name, I hear this and is disco music, this song have a words like:

"hey cherokee hey cherokee"

this is all I remember.

The only song i can think of that mentions the cherokee is INDIAN RESERVATION/CHEROKEE NATION by Paul Revere and the Raiders. But it does not say hey cherokee and it's not disco.
For some reason when i repeat your hey cherokee,hey cherokee , in my head i'm hearing either Hey Jealousy from the Gin Blossoms which is a recent and also not disco. or Jeopardy by Greg Kihn Band which was actually played in discos in the early 80's. have no idea why they just kind of sound the closest to me.
