Knowing a little of his pedigree, I was surprised as hell when Joe released this, but it didn't stop me playing it, to good dancefloor response.
The early Rap scene was like a breath of fresh air so far as I was concerned, especially after all the commercial Disco mayhem of the previous year, or so. It felt like Black music was being reclaimed.

The girls in the snake skins are not the greatest dancers, but they gave the song a new dimension :lol: Have to watch it again
