I've seen posts about the SL-1500, but what I'm wondering is, at what level should the anti-skate be set to?

I have a Technics SL-23. The turntables I had before did not have this feature. (or the stroboscope and pitch adjustment)

I currently have the weight of the pick up set to 1 2/3 (the range on both tone arm weight and anti-skate is 1 - 4.)

    Thanks!

Generally one sets the anti-skate to the same amount as the tracking force (weight). If you have your tracking force set to 1.5 then set your tracking force to 1.5 as well. This should all be done after it has been properly mounted and balanced. Nonetheless, you'll still need to check the cart specs since some makers differ.
