Ol'Skinflint,
I clearly understand about your suspicion. I feel the same way about some links. Hey, I'm not here to do any harm. Cllick on the link, download and give it a shot. You might be able to help me. I've been searching for the title and artist for twenty three years.

I've listening to it for the last few days and I can't come up with anything, & I REALLY want to know what this song is also. (I can understand your pain...it took me about 20yrs before I found someone to tell me the name of a song by Walter Murphy - Malaguena) do you have any other information about the sample?:-o

Qdearl,
That is all I have on the song. Man...all I remember is arriving at JFK, nephew blasting that song on 98.7 KISS and I loved it! I can kick myself for not following-up on that song and going to J&R Music World downtown Manhattan to purchase the 12". Qdearl, please spread the word. Someone out there has an answer, someone. I know this!

I haven't heard this song in years. Excellent tune and sounds even better with fresh ears. Pamela Joy "Think Fast" originally on Pizazz record label. Hope this helps:-D
MiltonJ,
Three words...OMG! You know...it was a tough day at work and I needed some good news. Well, you given more than good news. Thank you my friend:-D I did some research and this a hard-to-find print. Man...I'm so freakin' estatic that I do not even know where to start. Okay, send me your physical address via personal message and I will kindly send your reward. Again, thank you for the effort and your time.
Raphael:smile:
Not a problem Raphael. No need for monetary reward I'm just happy to be of some help. Good luck in finding it. I have one recommendation but it maybe a mixed compilation. Joey Negro released a compilation album titled "Destruction Boogie" which features the track but maybe not in it's entirety. There's some good cuts on there and there's soundbites at this link...

I just bought a sealed copy off eBay for $9. I'll check some other online merchants and post a link for you if I see another copy.
I've just checked some, along with other 12"s I was looking for, but found no good deal.
Here's a $126 copy 12". They must be kidding:

Otherwise, here it is on this CD compilation (£12.99):

MiltonJ,
If only there were more people like you on this earth. I checked out that site and purchased a copy from Amazon. Milton, I cannot find any history on Pamela. "Think Fast" must've been a one-hit-wonder. Darn. Hey, take care and continue to help out on this forum. Have a great day!:)

Thanks Raphael, I'm very familiar with Dusty Groove, I've shopped there many times, another good place to check is www.musicstack.com, very similiar to what you will find on gemm, but sometimes they have different listings and more choices. Happy Hunting my friend!

The only thing about these sites is that you REALLY have to watch out for the record's grading. They sometimes call a NM what I'd hardly call VG-.
One site I've never been disappointed with is Craig Moerer's www.recordsbymail.com , almost everything is graded M- or SS, and actually reflects the state of what they sell. As if they pressed the records themselves to order!
Once, I didn't recieve a package I was expecting (probably lost in the mail), and they re-sent an order of the same records free of charge.
Well, I'd better stop here, or I'll have to ask them for a commission.
Wow! You guys are fast. I'm surprised that you got hold of them so quickly. I don't think I've seen an available copy of the 12" since the late 80's. Your enthusiasm has inspired me to go through my old records from that period again.
Peace
MiltonJ
Sweet! Go ahead and dust off those 12"and start spinning:D Like Q said, "we move fast." I looked and looked to see if any more copies were available. The only place to have a listing is GEMM and the fellow is selling his copy for a whopping $146! Milton, I just saw Chantal Curtis' name on a mix and that compelled me to play her single, Get Another Love. Oh! man...that hit brings back memories. Cool, there's a copy for sale on eBay. Not bad for $9. Hey, take care and don't be a stranger.8)

Raphael was kind enough to add this record along with a label scan to the Disco Record Vault at
http://www.discomusic.com/records-more/7418_0_2_0_C/
Now you can keep an eye out for that label next time your browsing the bins!
