I am doing research for a possible book deal and there are some Disco DJ's and promotional people whom I am looking to get in contact. If anyone knows their whereabouts or how I can get in touch with any/all of them, please let me know (I am not even sure if many of them are still with us...if that is the case, please
let me know as well). If your name is not on the list, I obviously know your whereabouts, so I will eventually be in touch.......

    Here goes:

    Viviano Almonte
    Kevin Burke
    Billy Carroll
    Brian Chin
    Frank Corr
    Alan Dodd
    Lou Goyette
    Joel Jacobs
    Tom Karopoulos
    Bacho Mangual
    Howard Merritt
    Danny Pucciarelli
    Paul Poulos
    Wayne Scott
    Tony Smith
    Frank Strivelli -
    Dan Tomasulo
    Sharon White

also, anyone who worked in New York City at 12 West, Les Mouches, Flamingo, Buttermilk Bottom, The Ring, Crisco Disco, Inferno, Volcano, The Underground, Zodiac, Barnum Room, Le Jardin and Swings.

    Thanks a lot.....

    Thanks Nrg...

I knew about the Robbie website and I was thinking of asking him first...but since their are many former DJs in this forum, I thought I would have a better shot in here....don't prove me wrong, fellas and ladies!

BTW, am I so OLD or is everyone else in here so young to have NOT gone to clubs in the 70's in NYC (a pretty big town, I might add) that only one person in this forum remembers any of these DJs - or are they all dead and no one wants to tell me?....or, perhaps, are you writing your own book on a similar subject and are just too selfish to share your information with me?.....   - any help will be greatly appreciated....

    DanceMan,

If you e mail Robbie, perhaps he can give you updates on Alan Dodd, Howard Merritt and Sharon White.

I believe I read somewhere that Alan Dodd is now a bigwig with some company.
