I guess "Knock on wood" will always be the classic 1 for Amy Paulette Stewart but she released other good stuff and she's still in da bizz: www.amiistewart.com

Light My Fire/ 137 Disco Heaven is such a classic but my favourite Stewart track is her cover of The Letter! Her gutsy vocals fit this Box Tops hit perfectly with an incredibly tight, energetic group of musicians right along side her.
That electric guitar solo (Barry Leng?) would make the most stubborn rocker smile (if they had ever heard it) but the most thrilling moment of the song is towards the end when the sax player, Ron Asprey, comes in and perfectly matches the same high note that Amii reaches then takes over with his solo! Twenty-six years later and I still think of this as one amazing feat ever recorded.8)
