Dance Music Hall Of Fame 2006

Hey Gang,

I know it's been a while since I posted but I had lost my loggin info and I was having trouble changing it and after a while I just gave up. Well here I am again and hope everyone is doing well and is having/had a great summer. I was wondering if there is any news on the 2006 Dance Music Hall of Fame ceremony, artist nominess, date of event, is there even going to be an event? I check the official site and the webmaster hasn't updated it in almost a year and can't get anyone to reply to my inquiry. Any info would be a big help. Thanks.

Although I can't say much, it won't be happening this year (money issues...) :-(

It's a shame as I went to the first awards ceremony in 2004 (which was great) and it had tremendous potential.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope they can resolve the issue for next year. I think it's great that dance music artist get the recognition for their contribution to music. The rock n roll hall of fame continues to be bias toward Disco/Dance artist. I can't believe that innovators like Chic, Gloria Gaynor, KC & The Sunshine Band, Donna Summer and Barry White, among others, have not been inducted while less know artist have. I guess they should call it the hall of shame. :cry:
