The original is the Donny Hathaway version,the Bob Sinclair only uses a sample ,and i don't think it's "The Ghetto" i think he uses George Benson "The world is a ghetto" a cover of the War track. A very good version of "The Ghetto" came out in the late 90's on Italian Irma Records by Jestofunk ft.Cee Cee Rogers & Fred Wesley.
