In the 80's "White Horse" was a monster track on my dance floor. Recently there's been a house version of it by Wonderland Avenue, it's not bad at all it's pretty true to the original.

I probably should comment on this one way or another since they're from over here. Laid Back (Tim Stahl & John Guldberg) had a few other hits too, Including "Elevator Boy, "Sunshine Reggae" and "Baker Man", the latter was their last hit in 1988-89. "White Horse were definetely their finest hour though and the cut has been sampled by The Black Eyed Peas and Monifah in recent years.
They've released quite a few albums over the years but many have failed to make much impact, even in their own country

Their latest was "Happy Dreamer" released in 2004.

Please, don’t forget about my lovely “High Society Girl”! “Fly Away/Walking In the Sunshine” – is strong thing too! Remembering from my schoolyears ;-) “Keep smiling” is one of my most favorite albums!

There's a 1978 album called "Disco Danish", a collection of discofied tangos and waltzes, played by a Munich-style studio orchestra and "sung" by a girlie chorus. Exactly what you'd expect but/and enjoyable of course.

Do you by any chance have a list of credits for that LP Jussi? I'd love to see who was involved.

I have only seen one danish disco album ever. It was by Night queen and even features a DJ Voiceover between tracks and a cover version of SOS band Take you time (Do it right) vocals by Debbie cameron

great band with many catchy disco dance tunes, low on lyrics, but oh so fun and catchy, so Scandinavian....Sunshine Reggae, Maybe I'm crazy, It's a Shame, CC Cool... and I love their ballad I think it's called Highway of Love

sad that in US they are considered a one-hit wonder

High High Society Girl, it gets me dancing all the time guaranteed :icon_mrgreen:

Loved "Fly Away" from the LP, "One Life" and "Highway Of Love" 12"s that came later.
InvisibleMan, I agree, "Highway of Love" is a gorgeous piece of morning music.
