Thanks Video, for the "OFYOFM" video. Is there any video footage of them performing the original "Cafe'"?

Cafe was not made under the mark “La Bionda” ;-) but under “Disco Delivery Sound” (“D.D.Sound”), and I never heard about any video yet.
Bionda’s Bandido is the great too!!!

On the same album as "One for me, one for you", there's also "Song for Smokey and the Bandit" and "Hey woman", both kinda dorky lyric-wise as the Italians knew how, but also so good soundwise.

The La Bionda brothers also released quite a few records under the DD Sound name. My favorites would be "Café" with "She's not a disco lady", and mostly: the "Hootchie Cootchie" LP, with the title track, "My ballerina", and "Your kind of music". The tracks on these 2 albums were so danceable, so cleverly orchestrated and arranged, that I was thrilled at once, and set out to buy their other LPs... just to be disappointed with the 2 other Disco Delivery Sounds I found.
Nothing as creative and interesting as what had been displayed in their other albums. I didn't really like any of their following work either (Bandido, etc...)

Please, don’t forget about “Burning Love”, made by D.D. Sound in 1977. Good work too, I mean! Concerning La Bionda, their “High Energy” - 1979 is not so bad – but it’s in another kind. About “I wanna Be Your Lover”, made in 1980 - agree with You – no any interesting places: that was the end.

I was wondering if La Bionda did a video for the original "Cafe'" (with the full lyrics), since La Bionda IS DD Sound.

here I thought I'd just now realized something clever , thinking of Andrea True while listening to this, although tonight I was thinking her NY NY YOU'VE GOT ME DANCING as a good one to mix with ...

Anyway, if anyone is thinking of getting a European pressing of the album because of the bonus gate-fold cover with full recording credits, song lyrics, and pictures which include one of the Biondas flipping you off ... that is a sound decision.
    However,
if you're thinking you want that LP version because of the longer mix of ONE FOR ME ONE FOR YOU , I can save you some effort

Here's the US pressed version timed at 5:53:

    ONE FOR YOU....

and here's the 6:23 version you'd get on the German pressing:

    long version

they line up identically ... the longer version just plays out longer after the 5:53 mark .

    _____________________________

    NOW ,

THESE have to be the worst , least-representative lyrics of the times , (lamenting the days when "... ladies were seen but not heard") ....applied to any disco song --- bar none .

    from the same album :

    HEY WOMAN (I'm a neanderthal)

    ( crank it up??? )

    ******

maybe he was giving the finger to all those "modern" 70's ladies out there!
