Chart Hit [Level 6]
is anyone familiar with a record called "The Last Disco in Paris"? I saw it in the bargain bins and decided to take a chance because it was on one of my favorite labels (I can't recall ever hearing a record on the Marlin Records labels that I didn't like). I like it a lot, it has elements of traditional disco and also R and B. It sure is mysterious, though. There's no musician or vocalist credits (but one of the vocalists is CLEARLY imitating Robin Gibb), and I've never heard of the producer listed ("Claude Mainguy"). One of the other vocalists sounds just like Patrick Juvet. Anyone know anything? Thanks.
Underground Hit [Level 5]
The group is "Partners", as far as I know they were a French act. The LP is already entered in the Disco Records A-Z section on this site, as you can see here:

Bernie gives the LP a bad review. It's certainly not a classic, but I don't think it's that bad - the tune Dance (Wherever you are) stands up well in its own right, but the other songs on the LP are all a bit samey.

Double Platinum Record [Level 9]
I have the LP and the 12"... I can't say that I found either to be particularly memorable, but maybe I should pull it out again.
