How are your lists coming along?

What methods are you using of arranging them?

1 method I found to be very useful is create a large playlist with all my favorite to half good song.

And basically play it at random and filter away the songs I don't like or get tired of hearing too much.

I have gotten my top25 down to a top95 at the moment

the priority as to which will be no1 and no25 and so on.

I will do after I have the 25 nominees

Would gladley like to hear how your lists are coming along

    Cheers Sutnop

Already sent mine in. Wasn't that difficult. After 28 years in some cases, only certain tunes keep with ya!!!

I wrote my list on 20 minute subway ride to work and then typed it out here later...I only had to make 2 changes as I realized that "Vogue" and "This Time I Know It's For Real" were from a few years later....While I have a million tunes constantly spinning in my head at all times ("shussh, Sylvester, I will be with you in a minute") I actually always had a Top 50 list engrained in my brain; although if a song makes me want to sing with it, dance to it and even perform it...it made that narrow list...not all disco songs have those affects on me....

For me it comes in waves maybe I have a little shrine for like 10songs which I think is crucial

but the rest I can spin from 10times a day to once a month depending on the mood I am.

Best Examples is Diana Ross. Sometimes its her supremes stuff. Sometimes it is The Motown Disco. Sometimes the MArvine Gaye Compilations.

What I trying to say may taste varies from week to week to month to month.
One week I pick A over B anytime
the next week I can't stop listening to B but think A has been overplayed.

    I don't know
    maybe its just me
playing my tracks to often when I like them.......

I have to get started. Especially since Bernie said he might be closing it sooner than he first thought.

I'm not looking forward to it as I think there's just too much stuff out there that I still like.

I'll get it done, though. Can't let Bernie put a list out without my two cents in it.
