Mr. Quinny's words about 700 DJ Certified Top Disco

''It would be interesting to 'even up' the contributions from U.S. and non U.S. DJs on the next chart, as it would look completely different. Unfortunately, I've always felt that this site (and this and other charts here) are too U.S. based and possibly too GAY club play based. I realise that you can only work with whatever raw material is to hand (i.e. those DJs that visit the site and contribiute a chart), but the results are too biased to be of any real use or particular merit, because of that.
A little more thought really needs to go into the next one and then I would contribute. As it is, any selections I'd put forward would have had little to no impact whatsoever because of the bias.
Voyage made a few popular Disco records, but not one of them was a number one or even a top ten track of all time! Never in a million years.
Otherwise, yes there are lots of good tracks here, lots of really odd also rans and some downright dodgy selections gaining higher positions than bona fide classics and anthems, with many true floorfillers completely left off. That can't be a healthy state of affairs.''
