    Forgotton Heroes? LINX

My favourite is "You're Lying" but "This is Romance" was another cool breezer:

LINX never really lived up to their potential IMO. Sure, I loved playing some of their records, but their rhythm section was too loose at times and their output a little too poppy.

Touch & Go by David Grant was my fave 'Linx' record. Power personified.

Clips like that take me back to the days of bad lip-syncing on shows like this one, and especially American Bandstand. Sometimes, the singer is so far off that it just looks silly.

I liked You're Lying a bit, but mostly agree with Quinny's comments.

Recently David Grant appeared on TV singing songs from the 'shows' like Phantom Of the Opera & West Side Story. What happened to the funk David? I always thought their was something a tad camp about him.;) :D

"So This is Romance" is a great track.
Other singles were "Throw away the Key" , "Plaything" "I won't play the Game" They are not on the same level. Their earlier album material is nothing special(IMHO).

I also have some David Grant on 12".
    "Watching Me Watching You"
    "Love Will Find A Way"
    and "Stop and Go"

All very "powerful" tracks. Early 80's at it's best
