That may be true, but the thread's title was a direct quote of the lyrics from the song "New York New York" by Gerard Kenny, which was an airplay hit if not a sales hit in the UK (and no doubt other countries) in 1979.

Never heard of that song. The phrase I suggested was part of a commercial or something for New York. It sounds very familiar to American ears.
