I got Cori Josias too on 12" can't tell if he got more releases.

I have to say I REALLY love Supermax - Love machine not related with Giorgio, great track!

Biddu Orchestra is also another fav with his hit "Rainforest".

Finally let's start the dance: is the original version really back from 1976 ?
If you buy this record your life, will be better.

Would be interested to know what that Gaz Lp is like. Are the rest of the tracks like the single, Sing Sing? Or are they different?

That jazz Lp on Verve - Ed Thigpen - sounds intriguing, too!! DOn't know his name, but I like the lineup!! Is the LP an original or a reissue??

Oh yeah, and I love that classic Bohannon track!! Both the original and the remix!! Bet you are enjoying blasting that one out!!

    Hi.
sorry for my late reply, but I got cut off by my internet provider yesterday, I’m just back online.

Anywayz, to answer 2 your questions,

Supermax is indeed a great track, i had the instrumental on a mix album, so was very pleased to find the original on 12"

The Bohannon track is a 12" released as in the series: "TIMEPIECES 12" dance classic" on Mercury records. The credits for Bohannon say: 1978 Polygram. (5:49)
The Bohannon track is actually the B-side of that 12". The A-side isn't bad either:
THE CHI-LITES - my very first mistake (5:41)
I didn't like this track at first, but gave it a second listening, and discovered this track only kicks in after a while. And it's definitely good! I even think it was sampled by David Morales for his NEEDIN YOU track.

Also the GAZ album isn’t that bad. I mainly bought it for SingSing and because it has a nice album cover, a motorized-winged naked lady flying around in the galaxy.
Other good songs on the album are:
Boogie woman - nice breaks, spacey sounds, funky guitar
Interstellar love affair - sexy female voices singing: 'you can do it to me again... oh yeah... do it...'
This track is very Ceronne-like! actually, the whole album is.
Synth he sized her - long intro, fantastic drum breaks, synths, violins....
Plus another take at Starwars Cantina Band theme, a bit like Meca's version.

Oh and last time I forgot to mention these between my recent findings:
DON ARMANDOS SECOND AVENUE RHUMBA BAND - Deputy of love 8:55- - 1979 ZE records
THE VAST MAJORITY - Come one ever 5:00 - 1976 Vogue records (very good soul/funk track with massive organ sounds!)
CROWN HEIGHTS AFFAIR - Dance lady dance 6:25 – 19?? Barclay records
And finally one for the Hiphop lovers-haters:
    FAT BOYS – Jailhouse rap 8:55 / Stick’em 4:26 Sutra records

    Peace,
    808

I believe that the Cori Josias track...Takin' It Straight....was by a WOMAN, not a guy. I got it thru my record pool back in the early 80's. I think it was picked up by Warner Brothers, maybe on the Sire label.
