That's the correct timing. My 12" copy has a timing of 5:04 and it's called the extended remix version but it's shorter than the cd...:roll:
I think the only use that I could have had for the 12" vinyl was the instrumental on the flip side.
Are the 12" version and the LP version the same? I checked on Ebay and they showed a 5:03 12" version and another site showed the album version at 5:15. It seemed odd that the 12" version would be shorter than the album.

I have a UK 12" cat no: MCAX 1075 from 1986 which is
Oh people (the JM mix) clocking in at 8mins 35. I have it here in my hand but have not played it for years, can't remember what the other 12" was like so when I play it I'm not sure what to compare it with. The mix was done by Julian Mendelsohn and from memory it ups the dance potential. B side is 5.25 instrumental and Love attack.
