Raphael: The name of this ballad is "Valentine Love" by "Michael Henderson" from the 1976 album "Solid" which I believe is currently out of print on cd. Good news is that this was one of his signature ballads and it is included on a few of his greatest hits cd's. Also one of my favorites. Further info: Someone else did a rendition of this song but I can't remember who...Seems like it was Norman Connors,Walter Jackson or maybe Robert Winters & Fall. Still, The version you chose to inquire about with your link "Michael Henderson" is the better one in my opinion. Good taste you have. :)

Thank you so much for your reply. I was so estatic when I saw (1) reply to my thread that I actually said, after so many years of searching, "finally someone has an answer!" I went ahead and did some research on the artist (Michael Hendersen, Valentine Love) and title that you provided, but it wasn't comparable to the 1983 song. I paid attention to the lyrics and they did not match. Thank you for your input and introducing me to an artist that I wasn't aware of. To know that he recorded with Jean Carne is enough for me to make him part of my collection.
