Just saw Eddy on TV and the old boy can still sing! Did he do any other disco songs besides "This Will Be A Night To Remember"?

    Hey Boodi,

Where have ya been? Dancing in the streets at another Carnival???? Saw your jokes!!! Tit For Tat, eh???? You're STILL convinced it's HIM?????

Did you see Eddie Holman on that PBS Pledge Drive Show singing "Hey there Lonely Girl"???

That's where I saw him and he was spectacular!!!! He was the last act as they broadcast it in LA. Lots of people sounded ok to pretty good BUT Eddie's falsetto was fierce!!!!

"This Will Be A Night To Remember" is one of my all-time faves-- IF NOT MY ALL-TIME FAVE. I still haven't put together that damn list. It just seems impossible.

Checking my source book, Eddie released another single on Salsoul (his last to chart on the R&B chart) called "You Make My Life Complete" b/w "Somehow You Make Me Feel" after "TWBANTR" in the late summer of 1977.

Anyone know these tunes? Dance or ballads???

Hey Marky! We saw Eddie on Pledge Week as well. Di keeps hocking me to buy the $250 Pledge Package and I think I will (that's the VHS tapes plus the 5 cds).
Thanks for the info on that other Holman cut.
As to the indentity of The Miami Troll, I'm quite sure it is him. Who else has such a mastery of mispelling, bad grammar and shitty syntax besides The Little Ass-et?

hi boodi great to hear eddie was on t.v there, after salsoul he became born again and recorded gospel in philly[thats quite strange as he did a big tour here in the middle of all that in the mid 80s as unreleased cameo parkway tracks were being played here]and there was to be one more dance record to be cut for ian levines nightmare label in 89 "whatever happened to our melody" sadly not worth checking out as this was levines least creative period.
