So I'm curious. Has anyone else noticed how few contributions there seem to have been in the past couple of days? It's been right spooky.
Where is everyone? On holiday (vacation) or just tired with the summer heat?
How come 10 people on average read threads for every one that bothers to contribute?
    Wass Hapnin'?
Perhaps everyone is played out. Now who made that record, 'It's all or I'm all played out'?

The reason why nobody is posting much is because they are all over at the Steve Kelso website and their hands are too busy to type.

It goes in cycles. The TROLL who said that the regulars who post here are a relatively small group, was actually kinda accurate. When controversy flares, there's MORE activity. Most of the new members are folks looking for a song title...and rarely contribute once they find out who did that mysterious "Toot toot beep beep" song they heard for the first time yesterday.

Some post heavily and then disappear. BUT the regulars always come back. We are the hard core group who actually enjoy hearing from each other and can't wait for someone to post something amusing.

Now IF it hadn't been stomped into the ground sooo many times recently...I'd suggest "a HATE list" of some sort. That brings em out of the woodwork.

MARKY: I was hoping you'd know who made that song 'I'm, it's, You're All Played out".
I'm sooooooooooooooo disappointed. Perhaps I should post it to the other board; Dah! I can live without it.

    Quinny,

Someone will know who did it, I'm sure. Post it at the Song ID place. It sounds familiar--BUT I'm not sure.

I DO know Cliff Richard did "We Don't Talk Anymore", however.

It's like with other message boards: There are times when there are a lot of messages being posted, and times when hardly any are.

    Yeah,

It's been a while since i've been online. Mainly because of the incredible good
wheather we've been having in Belgium lately. Also I just started out on a new job.
So I work hard all day, stay out late at
night and party all weekend long. Great summer.
But i've still found some time to go cratedigging. Check some of my recent findings in my topic under 'what are we listening to'

    peace,

Nonkel 808: I forgot some people do have a life  Welcome back from a relative newcomer.
Still doesn't explain why 10 people look and only 1 bothers to write anything. Any ideas anyone?

    Quinny--

Maybe it means only that someone was interested in reading what other posters had to say but didn't feel they had anything worthwhile to add to the thread. I know I've felt that way many times.

I would rather people read and move on rather than post nonsense just for the sake of leaving a reply.

And NO, that comment is not directed at anyone in particular!

That's how I feel much of the time I visit the board. I'm still surprised that I've posted as many messages as I've had.

That's why I don't respond that much. And I rarely start a thread. Since I've been posting here, I've probably started fewer than ten threads.

    I realize that.
