What disco artist's version of MIDNIGHT TRAIN TO GEORGIA left the station a full year ahead of Gladys Knight and the Pips' release ??

i believe you have a winner in that answer!

also..."Midnight Plane To Houston" became "Midnight Train to Georgia" – and Atlanta R&B group Gladys Knight and the Pips' best-known tune.

    Disco artist !??

Cissy Houston has recorded thousands more tracks outside the Disco genre than within it. To term Cissy Houston is a 'Disco' artist is one of the more absurd things I've read in one of you postings, Remicks! :-P

So testy today dear boy !!

I've never liked the term "disco artist" either . I 've always contended it is the music itself that is "disco" or not ....

But in making up alluring clues .... it makes it much more interesting to allude to the person in question as a (future ) disco artist .... this is after all a site about things pertaining to DISCO !!!! And Cissy's musical history includes doing disco . :p

As far as this being one of my more absurd statements .... you really must review more of my posts !!!....
