"Capricorn" by Capricorn

Can anyone give me information on this group? I heard a song of theirs on Chrome (XM radio) today, "Capricorn" yet can't find any information about this group other than that it came out in 1980 on Emergency Records and:

"Capricorn" by Capricorn was another often forgotten Disco classic with Italian roots from Claudio Simonetti of Easy Going and Vivien Vee fame.

Who were Capricorn and why haven't I heard of them before?

Capricorn also had a great underground hit that was released in 1981 with an insrtrumental version as well that received lots of clubplay in NYC.

their other one on emergency "pow pow pow/may be no" is good, too. simonetti and meo have done tons of stuff under the aliases Easy Going ("fear (jellybean megamix)" is the bomb), kasso ("the walkman", "kasso", etc), etc etc. and its all pretty good. im not a big italo fan, but theyre amongst the best, IMO. big synth solos and corny melodies are their forte....

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I was going to post about this exact song. Does anyone know if you can find "Capricorn" on any CD, maybe an italo disco compilation or something like that? This is one of my absolute favorite disco songs, I remember hearing it on NY radio (probably WKTU) back around 80/81. I can find a few odd compilations with "I Need Love", but the self-titled track remains elusive. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Videoskooter! I will have to track that down, too bad its not the 12 inch version. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever heard this song in any other version than 8+ minutes.
