    Children of the night

Does anybody know who performed a disco song which in my opinion was recorded during 1975 - 1980 and refren is something like that:
    Hey-a hey-a hey-a....Children of the night...

Wild guess: Bionic Boogie's "Boogie Boo" uses "we are children of the night" as part of a refrain.

I doubt it could be Fifty Second Street, who recorded a slow tempo song called "Children of the night" which was also the name of the album. They sound it bit like Loose Ends/SOS Band, and this came out in 1986. Nick Martinelli produced, and the album contains classics such as "Tell me (how it feels)", "You're my last chance" and "I'm available".

Great album, but given your idea it was mid to late 70's I am going to guess Boodikka is probably right. I have learned it is usually better to allow her to be right anyway :icon_mrgreen:

Well, you guys...he he he...I checked Bionic Boogie. Sorry, Boodikka but proposal wasn't real unfortunately. Maarten, also thank you for effort. Else I will check performer, however i'm convinced the song was released at the end of 70's.

Their version, which appears on their 1980 album 'At Peace With Woman', is actually a remake of the 1972 Stylistics tune. It's a fantastic track, written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed.
