Those videos were ripped from that Cerrone best of CD available in France. Worth getting because it includes some live stuff from '78, including the infamous live 'Rocket In The Pocket', which the hip hop DJs loved to scratch in the 80s.
Disco Funk
Music as featured in an Emmanuelle film, broadcast to your TV via a caring, sharing porn satellite channel (only $29.99 per month), just the press of a red button away.
Supernature always sounded like The Days Of Pearly Spencer in parts and I'm guessing Mike Leander, the producer of David McWilliams's opus, stole the aforementioned part from a classic. If not, he should have sued Monsieur Cerrone.

I'm not sure that the girls on the video are the same vocalists on the actual track. However, here's a 1969 photo of the English group "Brotherhood of Man", in which Sue Glover and Sunny Leslie sang together.

Sue is on the right side of the picture, Sunny is on the left. You can listen to them on their hit single "United We Stand" (1970) -- I'm not sure which of the two was the lead singer, though...
Syncophonic, thanks so much!
Wow, in that pic, Sunny kind of looks like one of the vampire wives from a Count Yorga movie :o ......

Remicks,
Brotherhood Of Man has reformed and is successfully touring in Great-Britain, where they are top of the bill in many gayclubs. :o
Syncophonic,
Thx for the info. I wonder why her Discocarreer is not mentioned on this page:

Now for the other girls:
Stephanie de Sykes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stephanie de Sykes is a British singer, and was once a girlfriend of Angus Deayton. She had a hit in 1974 with Simon May's "Born With A Smile On My Face" which reached Number 2 in the UK Singles Chart.
De Sykes lived with Stuart Slater, lead singer of The Mojos, with whom she had two children.
She was one of the Birds Of Paris, a combination of backing singers, used throughout the 1970s to add vocals to a number of disco groups, and artists. The other members of the Birds Of Paris included Madeline Bell, Joanne Stone, Kay Garner, Sunny Leslie, Sue Glover, Vicky Brown and Katie Kissoon.
She was once a member of Love & Kisses, a group started by Demis Roussos producer Alec R Costandinos. She also sang with the group Sphinx.
And I found a pic (the girl on the bottom of the article)

And these are Madeline Bell and Kay Garner:

And here's Vicki Brown...
She was a longtime collaborator of Sir Alec's, performing as a background singer on Love and Kisses and on Alan Hawkshaw's Love De-Luxe. Sadly, Vicki died in 1991 of cancer. More info on http://www.xs4all.nl/~josvg/cits/vicki.html .
OMG, she's the mum of singer Sam Brown, didn't knew that!
Syncophonic, do we have all the girls now???
And I think you will find this article very interesting:

Right now we have most of the regular members of the birds of paris. We're still missing the two Joannes (Williams and Stone) plus a couple of girls who only appeared in one or two albums (Jean Hawker and Joy Yates). There's also Katie Kissoon, Helen Chappelle and Liza Strike, who participated on Love & Kisses' "You Must Be Love", but I really do not consider them true members of the birds.
Now, let me throw in a question: which one of the birds was the lead singer on "I've Found Love", "How Much, How Much I Love You" and "Beauty And The Beast"? I think it was Sunny Leslie, and I have my own theory on the subject, but I'd like to hear your opinions.
Here's a pic from the girls singing with German dancemeister James last:
From left to right: Sunny leslie, Susie Glover, Kay Garner and Lynn Cornell:
And I also found this vid for "Supernature 98"
A great chance to compare theyoung Cerrone with the somehow 30-years-older version :-)
