    Some kewl disco songs

    Hi guys,

    1) I'm wondering what sample this track has been using:
    http://www.speedyshare.com/353667981.html
It's Disco Dust - Feels good, a house track from '98.

    2) http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF52377-01-01-01.mp3 - This is a mixture of samples, the bassline is from Atomic Dog by George Clinton, the guitar and vocal I don't know yet...

    3) http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF169034-01-01-02.mp3 - This sounds like a disco sample...

    4) http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF101316-01-02-01.mp3 - What samples are in here? I think it could also be a bit more 80's, but, just asking. You never know... :)

    5) http://www.discogalaxy.com/pages/rel...?play_track=63 very cheesy sample but fun!

If anyone knows, that would be of great help, thanks!!
    Simon.

The very last one uses Donna Summer - "Could it be magic". Donna also moans her way through that orchestral bit so whoever created this house track was not very original...

And I could be wrong, but I think I recognize Love Unlimited Orchestra in the sample you describe as "This sounds like a disco sample..." But it is so meshed up I can not tell you if I am right and which track it might be...

Hehe thanks, yeah it's a pretty simple song but still because of that sample it sounded sooo disco-y :P

Number 4 is sampling good ol' "Boogie Nights" by Heatwave.

The third one sounds almost like it could be Love Unlimited Orchestra/Barry White, but the overdubbed drums are throwing me off. Ed Green was Barry's drummer for years, and he had a distinctive style, but I can't tell if its him.

the bed of the track is the main groove from Boogie Nights imo. It's only really the bassline that cuts through though.

On the other hand, I may be completely bonkers!
