It does have a Vincent Montana feel. I checked the I Love Music lp and the Goody Goody lp also. Not on there.
There are a few more albums by him, and listed on discomusic.com.
I don't know if you have these, but it might be a good lead.

If its something Salsoul related, it would probably be from the early 80s. It sounds later than the 70s. Sounds like it could be from the East Coast.
Disco Funk
This would never be Salsoul, MFSB, Love Unlimited, Ripple or Vincent Montana. None of these would ever use synthesizers instead of real violins!
I am going to guess this is European, British or possibly Italian. So I am going out on a limb here... prove me wrong :oops:
