I know Dennis Edwards version rec'd club play. Did this version get much club play?

I used it a little. Had the Disconet version. I preferred Dennis.

The Kane Gang did get some local club play,one of reasons is that it was on a label called Kitchinware which was based in Newcastle about 40 miles up the coast from me.A better cover version was probably the M People one.As somebody whos'e seen Dennis Edwards live with the Temptations i know what recording i prefer!
